Michelle has a passion for intercultural exchange and all things outdoors. She joins NatureKids with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and direct experience with conservation. She believes that humans are an integral part of the ecosystem and have a right to access, enjoy and care for the land. Her previous work has ranged from service industry, working with seniors, housing management and youth facilitation, including the initial set up and expansion of the WILD Outside conservation program throughout Greater Vancouver. She has roots in South East Asia and is grateful to call British Columbia her home. You might find her at an AdventureSmart booth near a trail head, summiting a local Vancouver mountain or paddling the chilly yet beautiful coastal waters!
