Have you ever been to the Delta Heritage Air Park right on the edge of Boundary Bay? We’re going to join Sam Cousins, a biologist with the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, to learn about this unique regional park and help renaturalize it.
We will be weeding a planted restoration site and laying weed barriers between plants. We might even have the opportunity to seed a restoration site.
Sam will teach us about the history of the site, current operations, current restoration projects, and the importance of hedgerows for biodiversity. We might also have a chance to tour the air park and look at some of the planes!
