Join us to explore the fungal diversity in this lovely fall season. We’ll be examining the leaf litter, logs, twigs, and wood chips for fungi big and small. Learn different parts of a fungi and get some basic tips for identifying fungi.

Featured nature mentor – Ludovic Le Renard: Ludo studied fungi for his PhD dissertation which he defended at UBC in 2019. He worked as a researcher at UBC until 2021, and then worked for a startup developing medicines from mushrooms for the last two years. He is an active member of the Vancouver Mycological Society and loves sharing his passion for these overlooked organisms.
