Location: George C Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary, in Delta on the unceded territories of the scəw̓aθən (Tsawwassen), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations.

We’ll explore the wetlands, natural marshes and low dykes of this beautiful bird sanctuary in the heart of the Fraser River Estuary. This is an area of refuge for millions of birds as a feeding and resting area during their annual migrations along the Pacific Coast. A nature mentor will guide us to explore the sanctuary, and you’re welcome to stay afterwards to explore further on your own.
