On Saturday May 10, from 10:00 to 12 noon, we’ll visit the Copley Community Orchard in east Vancouver to build a birdhouse with folks from Wild Birds Unlimited. We will divide up into 2 groups: one group will tour the orchard with nature mentor, Tanya, while the other group participates in the birdhouse building activity. Then we will switch. If we have time, we can also join the regular orchard volunteers in watering and weeding the garden beds – a favourite Vancouver Club activity during past visits to the orchard. 

All materials will be provided. Feel free to bring snacks or food if you’d like to stay for a picnic in the orchard. Often, a local music group starts performing at about 11:30.
