In response to COVID-19, NatureKids BC is providing online resources and interactions, such as Virtual Explorer Days, to ensure the safety of our members. Please read our COVID-19 Guidelines and Policy for any potential in-person gatherings this summer.
Our next Explorer Day will be “Fantastic Fungi” on Sunday, October 26, location TBD. Sign-in will start at 9:45 am, and the program will run from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. We’ll explore the vital roles of fungi in healthy ecosystems, as decomposers and as partners to live trees (mycorrhizal fungi).
Registration opens on Friday (October 10) at 8 am. After this time, please send us an email at whistler@naturekidsbc.ca letting us know:
- Name and ages of children whom you’d like to register – children must be 5 – 12 years old
- Names of parents/guardian(s) who you’d like to register – a reminder that this program is for families, so at least one parent/guardian must also attend
