In response to COVID-19, NatureKids BC is providing online resources and interactions, such as Virtual Explorer Days, to ensure the safety of our members. Please read our COVID-19 Guidelines and Policy for any potential in-person gatherings this summer.
You are invited to a festive evening on Friday, December 19 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
We will meet at Cottonwood Park at 4:30 p.m. ( parking lot next to Train Museum) and begin with hot chocolate from Tim Hortons. We will gather under the pavilion for a simple craft in the dark, with lighting provided. The children will have the option to make glitter pinecone ornaments or pinecone peanut butter birdseed feeders.
*Please bring flash lights, lanterns or head lamps for yourself
Once we finish our crafts, we will walk next door to the Festival of Lights at the train museum for a cheerful and seasonal stroll.
Please dress warmly for the occasion, as we will be spending our time outdoors.
