Lana Brandt is the Club Leader for the Sunshine Coast NatureKids BC Club, where she inspires youth and families to connect with the natural world. Based on the Sunshine Coast, Lana lives with her husband, their twins, and her Rhodesian Ridgeback.
She also serves as the Interim Executive Director of the Loon Foundation, where she collaborates with a passionate team to bring the Pacific Ocean Discovery Station (PODS) to life—an exciting initiative focused on ocean and climate research, education, and community engagement.
Lana is committed to getting young people outdoors to experience the beauty and wonder of nature firsthand. She believes these connections foster a lifelong understanding of environmental stewardship. Through her work, Lana is proud to support youth in exploring STEM education while helping build a strong, connected community on the Sunshine Coast.
