RICHMOND – Night Explore Day: Bat Walk Adventure
- 7:15 pm - 9:45 pm
Join us for an exciting evening of discover the secret world of bats and experience nature after dark.
Learn about these amazing nocturnal mammals and their important role in our ecosystem from a local bat expert. The program includes an engaging indoor presentation followed by a guided evening walk to observe bats in their natural habitat.
This event is recommended for older children, youth, and families who enjoy nature, wildlife, and outdoor exploration.

- Location: Richmond Nature Park
What to Bring
- Flashlight or headlamp (it will be dark during the outdoor portion of the program)
- Bug spray
- Long sleeves or other protective clothing
- Comfortable walking shoes
Before the Program
Families are welcome to arrive early to enjoy the park grounds before the event begins. Feel free to bring a picnic dinner and relax under the outdoor picnic shelter while enjoying a summer evening outdoors.
