Haley Mayers is a mother of two living on the North Shore of Vancouver, BC, and a member of the North Shore Club of NatureKids BC. Watching her children grow up alongside the forests, coastlines, and mountains of British Columbia deepened her conviction of how critical it is to foster a strong relationship between young people and the natural world. Haley is passionate about ensuring every child has meaningful access to outdoor experiences, and she looks forward to contributing her skills in strategy and communication to help the organization grow its reach and impact.
Haley works for a global mining company and has spent more than 15 years navigating complex issues across capital markets in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. She brings that same instinct for clear communication and strategic thinking to her volunteer work, where her focus shifts entirely to people and purpose. Alongside her role with NatureKids BC, she sits on two other local nonprofit boards, driven by a genuine commitment to giving back to the community she calls home.
