COQUITLAM – Garden Basics: Starting from Seed

Location: Inspiration Garden at Town Center Park, 3091-3099 Guildford Wy, Coquitlam, BC V3B 7N2
This hands-on introductory workshop will cover everything you need to know about starting your vegetable garden from seed. Plan for your growing season with us! In this session, students will learn about soil mixes, preparation, watering, the process of seed germination, and the plant lifecycle. This event takes place at the Town Center Park on the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm traditional and ancestral lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the q̓ic̓əy̓ (kat-zee), and other Coast Salish Peoples.
Please bring water, a snack, and weather appropriate clothing.
