We’re excited to invite you to a special Nelson Nature Kids Explorer Day: Wayfinding and Flames featuring Elemental Journeys!
Come spend an afternoon together learning basic navigation and fire-building skills. Rooted in coyote mentoring, bushcraft, and elemental wisdom, this hands-on workshop will guide kids through connection-based learning using sharing circles, games, play, and storytelling.
When: Sunday, November 30th, 2025
Time: 1:00–3:00 PM
Where: Taghum Beach Regional Park (near Nelson, BC)
What to Bring: Footwear and layers for all weather, water, and snacks

This Explorer Day is free for members of NatureKids BC. Non members may attend if there is space. For kids ages 5-12 and their families. You can Invite new club members here: nelson@naturekidsbc.ca.
About the Facilitator this month:
Andrea Fox is an outdoor educator and certified nature based therapy guide with Elemental Journeys. They offer youth programs, adult wilderness retreats, and one-on-one counselling sessions in the area of Nelson BC.
