In response to COVID-19, NatureKids BC is providing online resources and interactions, such as Virtual Explorer Days, to ensure the safety of our members. Please read our COVID-19 Guidelines and Policy for any potential in-person gatherings this summer.

Join the Nelson NatureKids club for a fun afternoon getting to know our local wild birds. Winter is the perfect time to observe migrating waterfowl, great for beginner birders! We will have a scope set up but please bring binoculars if you have them. We will also be playing games and making some fun binoculars with the kids.

Where: Lakeside Park (exact meeting location will be emailed)

When: Saturday, March 1st 16th from 1-3pm

Plan to arrive a few minutes early so you can have your group ready to begin on time. All families need to sign in with a NatureKids leader when they arrive. Bring weather appropriate clothing, water and snacks for your group.
 
 
This Explorer Day is free for members of NatureKids BC. Non members welcome if there is space, please email us at nelson@naturekidsbc.ca. Everyone needs to pre-register. All ages welcome, with parent supervision.
