NatureKids Famlies, come and Explore Baker Beach at Low Tide! Discover the amazing creatures of our Salish Sea
June 13, from 1 – 3, at Baker Beach: Kathleen will lead an exploration of the seashore with Nature Salt Spring’s expert, Marine Biologist, David Denning.
What could be more entertaining than a low tide at Baker Beach? “Well, a seine pull!” exclaims David Denning, enthusiastically, and Baker is the best beach on Salt Spring for this kind of activity.
Putting a seine net into the ocean and pulling it onto shore will give us a chance to catch and see creatures that live in the sea. We’ll observe and learn about them and then release them back to their home.
