VANCOUVER – Yew Lake Trail Explorations
- 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join us for a hike of the Yew Lake Trail in West Vancouver. The approximately 2 km, predominantly level, trail passes through meadows, wetlands and old-growth forests. We’ll stop to identify some of the main trees and plants along the path, and search for some very unusual plants! Fortunately we have Nature Mentors Gail Ross and Lyn Grants to help us discover the many unique features of this beautiful area.
Register here.
Gail and Lyn are both Board of Directors members of the Friends of Cypress Provincial Park. Gail worked for 33 years for BC Parks, predominantly in the field of interpretation. She also ran the Prince George NatureKids club for over 10 years. Lyn Grants is the Past President of the Friends of Cypress, has been a teacher, and is a Friend and active member of the UBC Botanical Garden.
