In response to COVID-19, NatureKids BC is providing online resources and interactions, such as Virtual Explorer Days, to ensure the safety of our members. Please read our COVID-19 Guidelines and Policy for any potential in-person gatherings this summer.
Join us for an exclusive private guided tour through the stunning grassland ecosystem at Allan Brooks Nature Centre in Vernon. Led by one of their expert interpreters, families with children aged 5–12 will enjoy:A gentle, educational walk along the gravel Grasslands Trail, uncovering the secrets of native plants and wildlife adapted to Vernon’s dry, sun-swept hills.Hands‑on discovery in the Interpretive Centre, including interactive displays in the Discovery and Habitat rooms, perfect for curious young minds.Amazing views from the hilltop vantage point overlooking Kalamalka, Okanagan, and Swan Lakes, plus spotting birds, marmots, and other Okanagan wildlife.After the tour you will have time to explore the Centre by yourself. See the naturescape gardens, visit the sundial, relax at scenic benches, or enjoy a picnic in their covered area.
This event is FREE for all Nature Kids BC members. Siblings and friends are welcome too!
