October Mushroom Foray–NatureKids Explorer Day

Location: Blinkhorn Nature Park (1194 Kangaroo Rd, Metchosin)
Join us for a guided mushroom foray in one of Metchosin’s richest fungal habitats. We’ll learn about (and strengthen!) our skills in spotting and identifying wild mushrooms in the forest. Come join us to explore the wonderful world of fall mushrooms—from gills to mycelium!
Hosted by NatureKids BC Westshore Club, with nature mentors Kem Luther and Andy MacKinnon.
This event is open to all NatureKids BC members—joining is free and includes access to Explorer Days, NatureWILD magazine, a Nature Passport, and other family nature perks!
