In response to COVID-19, NatureKids BC is providing online resources and interactions, such as Virtual Explorer Days, to ensure the safety of our members. Please read our COVID-19 Guidelines and Policy for any potential in-person gatherings this summer.
Our next Explorer Day will be “Invader Rangers” on Sunday, August 24, at Spruce Grove Park. Sign-in will start at 9:45 am, and the program will run from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. We’ll explore what invasive species are, why they cause harm to nature, and what we can do about it. We’ll have a special guest from the Sea to Sky Invasive Species Council who will lead us in a weed pull at the end of the session.
