NatureKids BC WildRoots Home Learners Explorer Day
Date: Tuesday, December 17, 2024
Time: 10:00am – 11:00am (arrive at 9:45am for check-in)
Location: Maplewood Flats, 2649 Dollarton Highway, North Vancouver, BC, V7H 1B1, Unceded Tsleil-Waututh Territory
 
Enjoy a welcome and song from Les George, a prominent storyteller and knowledge keeper from the səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation) and Wild Bird Trust (WBT) of BC Secretary of the Board, and learn about the history, as well as native/invasive plants, animals, and birds located in this special area. You’re welcome to stay afterwards to explore further on your own.
 
Bring: water, snacks, wear comfortable shoes and clothes for the weather. This event will happen rain or shine.
Accessibility: The entire trail network is wheelchair accessible, as are the washrooms.
