In response to COVID-19, NatureKids BC is providing online resources and interactions, such as Virtual Explorer Days, to ensure the safety of our members. Please read our COVID-19 Guidelines and Policy for any potential in-person gatherings this summer.
Get a tour of the Tynehead Hatchery and a chance to check out what happens at the hatchery from checking on eggs, the fry, the water temperature, and all the other checks to ensure these salmon have the best change of making it in the wild and return to us in the years to come!
Please bring water, a snack, and weather appropriate clothing.
*Registration is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. All confirmed registrants will receive an email confirmation prior to the event.
Accessibility: Location is accessible by transit and car with a parking lot. Wheelchair-accessible entrance, toilets, picnic tables, and trails. Please message me if you have questions or concerns.
