There is ample street parking along Slocan St. \nFresh Roots is a non-profit organization working with school communities towards “Good Food For All.” They transform urban spaces to create thriving neighbourhood gathering places for learning\, sharing\, and connecting. They are hosting a “Before Sunset” fundraiser on July 7\, 4:30 to 7:30 at their farm at David Thompson Secondary School\, 1755 E 55th Ave\, in south Vancouver\, on the southwest corner of the schoolyard. There will be food and drinks\, music and activities.
