DESCRIPTION:Our next NatureKids day is on Saturday January 10th from 10am-noon for our Annual Kids Winter Bird count. We will meet at the Nicola Cutoff Road\, just past Nicola Ranch and spend some time by Nicola River with the spotting scope. We will also go for a short drive along a local ranch\, which tends to attract quite a few bird species. DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Saturday May 2nd from 10-noon at the Laurie Guichon Memorial Site (Lundbom Commonage).\n \nWe have a wonderful guest mentor\, Natalie Ross\, who will be leading us on an Explorer Day all about wetlands! Natalie harbors a deep passion for the environment\, balancing indigenous knowledge and western science. Natalie holds a B.Sc in Environmental Studies from TWU\, and currently is undertaking her Master of Science in Environmental Science at TRU. \n\n \nWe will be exploring the wetland so please be prepared to play in the muck. \n \nTo register\, email merritt@naturekidsbc.ca
