DESCRIPTION:June 14\, 10am\nCrescent Beach\nMeet in front of Beecher Place\, 12160 Beecher St. Surrey\nThis day will have an amazing low tide so we can explore deep into the intertidal! We will look for weird and wonderful invertebrates\, and fascinating fish. Please wear boots or shoes you don’t mind getting wet.  Flipflops do not work well for exploring the rocky shore.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for an easy hike through Heritage Park as we search for geocaches. \n\n\n\n\nPlease dress for the weather and bring along water and snacks for your family. \nWe will meet and circle up. Then we will head into the forest to look for several geocaches. \nLocation: Heritage Park\, Mission. SUMMARY:SMITHERS- Native Plant Walk and Talk
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of connecting with and learning more about our local plants!\n\n\nThis event will take place at the Bluffs Recreation Site (North 54.7677 North\, -127.1651 West)\, a 4.5 km drive from downtown Smithers. \n\n\nThis event will be led by Jean Chirstian\, a local master herbalist and retired classical homeopath.  We will meet at the Bluff’s parking lot from where the explorer day event will start.  Walking along the first 200 metres of the Bluffs “Boardwalk” Trail we will identify medicinal and edible plants\, collecting some of the edibles.  Returning to the picnic table near the parking lot\, we will make a salad and herbal tea from ingredients collected.  Bring a plate or bowl\, a cup\, and a fork to taste what we create.  And a bag lunch for those who can stay for lunch and socializing. \nAnyone needing a ride or wishing to follow another vehicle to the Bluff’s can meet in front of the Scotia Bank for a 9:30 am departure. \nSaturday June 20th \n\n10am – 12pm\nRegister here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/native-plant-walk-and-talk-tickets-1987027179784?aff=oddtdtcreator
