DESCRIPTION: Come join us at Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites for a “Fit to Serve” program with costumed heritage interpreters. We’ll also have time to discover native plants & wildlife\, asking questions to a free-ranging guide at the Garry Oak Learning Meadow. Bring a picnic lunch if you’d like.  Last year at FRH in June\, many of us were surprised and delighted to see orcas\, nesting swallows and chicks\, a myriad of sea stars\, jellyfish and hunting eagles. May we be so lucky again! WHEN: Friday\, June 20 @10:30AM to Noon. Plan to come 10-15 minutes early to sign in. WHERE: Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites\, 603 Fort Rodd Hill Rd\, Victoria\, BC V9C 2W8 https://maps.app.goo.gl/ozcNdAe9kqGjVqbT9 COST: Free (covered by NatureKids BC for approximately 20-30 children + adults).
