DESCRIPTION:We’re pleased to welcome back astronomer Justin Lee to share his knowledge and passion about the night sky with us. On October 9\, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM\, we’ll meet at Kitsilano Beach where we’ll have a good view of the moon and Saturn through Justin’s telescope. This is an all-ages event\, and you can drop by anytime. We hope to see some of the younger sky-gazers around 6:30. Feel free to bring some friends as well. To give us an idea of numbers\, please register here. Justin Lee is an amateur astronomer\, an interest he has had since he was 11. Throughout university\, he was a member of the UBC Astronomy Club. Now Justin loves to host public observation events and to share the night sky with others. You can see some of his photos on Instagram here. See map attached.   Parking: There are several paid parking lots close to the playground. If you have time to look around\, you might find free street parking.
