DESCRIPTION:Little Qualicum Falls hike. I am pleased to have a Mentor leading us. Lois Lecavalier. Here is her Bio\n\n“Mycology is my hobby and has been for 5 years now since I moved to Vancouver Island. I enjoy foraging for mushrooms and learning new species. There are thousands of fungi on Vancouver Island and more than 100 are edible. There are also many medicinals and mushrooms used as dyes. Hunting for mushrooms is an inexpensive\, healthy and useful hobby to get into and I look forward to introducing the children to it.  My own kids forage with me and they often find things I did not see. “
