SUMMARY:COMOX VALLEY
DESCRIPTION:The Wonders of Backyard Biodiversity\n\nA backyard biodiversity theme at the Anderton Therapeutic Gardens. Please note the earlier time – we will meet earlier to beat the heat and make sure we are out of the way before an afternoon event at the gardens! The volunteers at the gardens are busy working on a few talks related to different themes at the garden\, and I’m planning to include a little game of some sort and a short nature photography session.\n\nDirections: 2012 Anderton Rd\, Comox (on the way to the Little River ferry). The gardens are behind Anderton Nursery\, so follow the signs through the nursery parking lot. There is parking available outside the gardens behind the nursery. http://www.gardensonanderton.org/\n\nWhat to Bring: As always\, come dressed prepared for the weather\, and bring a small snack as we may have time for a little picnic. If you can\, please bring a camera as I plan to do a little exercise with the kids around nature photography and finding biodiversity in unlikely places. Please leave dogs at home.\n\nRSVP: please let me know by replying to email and/or the Facebook page if you plan to attend. I’d like to be able to give the volunteers at the garden a sense of our numbers to help them prepare.\n\nGuests: Non members are welcome to join us for a free Explorer Day to try it out. Please feel free to bring along friends and family.
