DESCRIPTION:Christmas Bird Count for Kids!\n\nThe plan is to meet at the tennis courts at the end of Marina Way..  This is a location that is more likely to be sheltered from winter conditions (for the comfort of birds and those who watch them!)\n\nWe will walk along the lake front and identify all the bird species we see along the way.  Christmas bird counts are a long standing tradition in Canada and around the world!  The information gathered helps to understand and conserve wildlife.\n\n\nPlease remember to dress in warm layers\, bring a warm drink\, and also bring binoculars if you have them.  I will bring extra binoculars and clip boards.
