Start off by learning about beach etiquette to ensure that we do not harm any of the creatures that struggle to survive in this challenging environment. Next\, checklists will be provided to collect information about flora and fauna usually covered by water. A health check on barnacles and mussels that were hit so hard during last year’s heat dome will also be done. \nLocation: Lumberman’s Beach\, Stanley Park \nRSVP here. \nOr email vancouver@naturekidsbc.ca for more info. \nRemember to bring footwear with good grip as rocks can get slippery\, sunscreen\, and a hat! \nFor families who are interested\, we’ll meet at 11:45 for a ’bring your own lunch’ picnic in the park across from the Splash Park. There is a concession stand there as well.
