Discover the wonders of plants and biodiversity as we uncover the stories behind the Garden and its remarkable collection. Join a guided walk through beautiful garden spaces and connect with the magic of the natural world.
Then step into the temperate rainforest canopy. Stroll along the 308 meter long suspended walkway high among the trees and explore a living garden filled with rare plants and important tree species. From this unique vantage point explorers of all ages experience the forest in a whole new way while learning about plants, local sustainability and the delicate balance of nature.
Please bring water, a snack, and weather appropriate clothing.
Accessibility: Much of UBC Botanical Garden is accessible by wheelchair or motorized cart for guests with accessibility and mobility challenges. However, due to the nature of our garden some pathways are irregularly graded and topped with wood chips or loose gravel.
