Carmen is a Club Leader with the Vancouver NatureKids BC Club!
Carmen moved to Vancouver from Mexico back in 2008. Having fallen in love with Canada’s mesmerizing nature, she became a regular Rockies and Coastal Mountains hiker. Her passion for the outdoors grew, forging her to not only care more about the environment and strive to live a healthier lifestyle but also to develop her backcountry and camping skills.
Now that she is raising a child, she has additional motivation to discover the natural wonders of British Columbia and Canada in general, to share them with her child, and to inspire other individuals to venture beyond their comfort zones and lead a more outdoor life.
She believes every child should have the opportunity to experience nature. Therefore she is excited to take part in this amazing organization and start exploring with families at NatureKids
