I am Cheri Naslund. I am the co-coordinator of the Oceanside Nature Kids Club. My family & I have been members of the club for 5 years.
I have lived in BC for most of my life. As a child I remember nature walks with my Aunts, Uncles & my mom as favorite activities. Now as a home schooling mom of 2 children I love spending time learning outdoors with my own children and those of others. We are fortunate to live in a place with seas, rivers, lakes, forests, with mountains to climb and incredible biodiversity.
My formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UVIC. I currently work in alternative health care as a Registered Acupuncturist.
My favorite places are: my home with its gardens and pond, in beautiful Hilliers, BC; MacMillan Park; and Little Qualicum Falls. Vancouver Island is one of the most beautiful places to live and I am blessed to call it my home. I look forward to sharing some learning & fun with families in our club. Join us!
