Kinwa Bluesky is Bear Clan and Anishinaabe from the Sandy Lake First Nation and Kitigan Zibi Anishinaabeg. She comes with sacred feet, and now lives softly on the unceded, traditional territory, and homelands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) People.
As a facilitator, Kinwa has supported NatureKids BC to deepen the conversations, commitment, and actions needed to get all children and families, deeply connected, and out on the Land. She knows the natural rhythms and Spirit of Mother Earth help to bring health, wellbeing, and unity for all our relatives. Kinwa comes from a long line of Medicine Women, who used Anishinaabeg Sacred Laws, teachings, and plant medicines to heal. She is now honouring their knowledge through a Plantcestors body care line, KokomisKin (Grandmother Relations), and taming a few little dry hands, rough elbows, and skinned-knees in the process!
